Into The Woods- Kansas Family Photography

I loved the feel of this session. The open space surrounded by amazing trees and lets not forget to mention the light peaking through the leaves. The weather was perfect and the location even more so. The Boyce family contacted me in the spring requesting a family session but not your typical family session. The less traditional poses the better! Due to all the flooding that we got here in North East Kansas this spring, the session was postponed a few times. It was completely worth postponing and not settling on a different location.

This family was dressed perfectly! I loved their outfits so much.

I am so obsessed with this location, I am bound to do a, Into the Woods birthday party for my daughter this month!

Tess and Lou's Engagement Session

I delivered this beautiful session yesterday and I loved the way it turned out. These two are perfect together and it shows in their images! Tess contacted me about photographing her wedding this January and we immediately got her engagement session scheduled. They wanted their pup, Pre, in them so we stayed around Valley Falls, Ks. We found a couple different locations around town that worked out perfectly.

After Pre got her 5 minutes in front of the camera, she went home. Tess, Lou and I went around to a couple more locations and finished up their session.

These two have known each other since high school and started dating in college. Their wedding date is set for January 2016 at Chrisman Manor, just outside of Oskaloosa, Ks.

I love this ring shot that we took at Grinter Farms outside of Lawrence, KS. We captured this image during their extended family session a few weeks ago!

Alright, I hope you loved viewing this session as much as I loved photographing it. I can't wait until January!
