I "found" this spot and it is amazing. I can not wait to explore it more and find it's full potential. If I play my cards correctly (a.k.a. buy my daughter a dress) I even have a willing model. There is nothing better then a ruffly white dress and cowgirl boots. Add a little wind in her hair and it makes the images that much more emotional. Emotional, my favorite type of portraits.

I waited until it was almost too late to get pictures of me and my grandparents.

I recently had two grandpas pass and it broke my heart to know that I don't have any pictures with them or any of my other grandparents. Not only that but I don't have pictures of my children with them either. I knew that I had to do something about this.

My grandma, my mom, my daughter and I went to His & Her Salon in Topeka, Kansas and we had our hair washed and styled and a few of us had our makeup applied.

Four Generations

I waited until it was almost too late to get pictures of me and my grandparents.

I recently had two grandpas pass and it broke my heart to know that I don't have any pictures with them or any of my other grandparents. Not only that but I don't have pictures of my children with them either. I knew that I had to do something about this.

My grandma, my mom, my daughter and I went to His & Her Salon in Topeka, Kansas and we had our hair washed and styled and a few of us had our makeup applied.

We then drove back to Valley Falls to my studio and with the help of my sister, we were able to get a four generation shoot.

I couldn't be happier to see these images. I think the only thing that will make me happier is to see these beautiful images printed.
