The Patrick Family Adoption at Stormont Vail in Topeka Kansas

I was so excited to be given the opportunity to photograph the fresh 48 for the Patrick family. My husband and Trey work together, so I have been following their story for a while.

The Patricks have been through years of fertility problems, foster parenting, almost adoptions and now, the birth of their baby girl Sloane.

I was able to photograph biological mom, dad and their families as well as the Patrick family and the moments before their adoption became finalized.

Austin & Rachel's Valley Falls, Kansas Wedding

Rachel and I went to school together, well, I was a grade below her but you get the point! Austin is in the Air Force, just like my husband. So, when she had contacted me about photographing her wedding, I don't think it could have been a better fit.

The wedding was to take place at her family's property outside of Valley Falls with the reception taking place at Kendall State Bank Community Hall. It was a beautiful sunny October day. (Yes I know, I am a bit behind on blogging).
