The most important rule to follow is to make sure that you are comfortable in whatever it is that you choose to wear. There is nothing worse then having to constantly tug at and adjust your outfit during your session!

Try and get your clothes in advance. That way you have time to exchange it for something else, if it doesn’t fit well or you change your mind about it.

DO NOT WEAR LOGOS..

DO NOT WEAR NEON COLORED CLOTHES..

I LOVE neutrals but I also LOVE color as well. You can not go wrong with either.

Outfits are an important part of your session. They have a huge impact on how the photos will look. Think about images that you have seen and have been drawn to. What style of clothing are they wearing? What colors are they wearing?

I have Pinterest boards full of ideas for sessions, with a variety of style options. Before you buy or order, send me pictures of what you are interested in and I will give you my opinion!

Oh boy, where do I start? I have thought long and hard about this & have contemplated how & when I would announce. Now that the time is upon me, I should probably get to it!

I have decided to sell my studio. Yes, you read that right! My commercial building that sits at 415 Broadway st. in Valley Falls, is hitting the market!

I have reached a point in my career where I am really fine tuning my style & if I am being honest, studio work just isn’t my fave. I love beautiful, natural, candid photography. I love the outdoors & I love photographing in client’s homes. I love the aesthetic of it, it makes my heart happy & that is sort of where I am at in life right now.

With that being said, due to pushing for more outdoor sessions, no longer taking on any additional weddings (that is a whole other blog post that is coming) & covid, as a business, it doesn’t make sense to have that expense anymore.

I am in no rush to sell it, so while it is on the market, I will absolutely continue to use it! For any future sessions that will require some type of studio (boudoir) I have a plan in motion for that!

With that being said, if you could do me a solid & share my listing, I will love you forever, haha. Own a sweet building that can hold your business/office with the potential of using the top story as a rental!
