8 years ago, we welcomed our first baby into this world! I had a very smooth pregnancy and worked up until my due date. She was born on October 25, 2007 at 6 lbs. 11 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. She had a head full of dark hair, a mohawk actually!

She is quite the little model and was pretty willing to let me take her pictures yesterday. We went around Valley Falls, where we live, and decided on our location. I love this spot, I shoot here regularly due to the scenery and the different look it gives through out the year. It took about 10 minutes and we were done.

What about her outfit?! The tutu dress was actually made by my mom. I attempted to make it but failed miserably. My mom is amazing. She took it apart and fixed it for me. This is probably one of my favorite portrait outfits for her!

Apparently this is the look you get when you ask your daughter about boys....

This look too :) These will definitely be getting printed. I am working on a couple wall groupings right now. We will be getting updated family pictures in November. The wonderful KeaDawn Photography will be photographing us once again. Once I have an updated family portrait, I will reveal our beautiful wall art to everyone! I am so excited for it to be complete.
