I had met Logan and Christian at Starbucks for their wedding consultation. They both had made it clear, that hiring local was very important to them. Luckily, I am from the same small town!

The plan was, they would get ready at separate locations and then have their first look at Christian's family home in Valley Falls. Their wedding and reception would take place on Christian's family's property as well. They have a large field that they cleared just for the big day. It was a perfect spot. To top it off, they had a custom arbor built for their wedding and they rented a large white tent for the reception.

You know what they say about rain on your wedding day, it's good luck! Well, Logan and Christian have amazing luck because it not only rained on their wedding day, it was storming! Lightning, thundering and pouring. Everyone was checking their phones throughout the day, to see if we would catch a break in time for the ceremony. Logan was calm and let everyone know, that the outdoor wedding was going to happen. Sure enough, the rain stopped at just the right times. We walked to a spot on the property to do their formal pictures, with umbrellas in hand, just to have it stop raining long enough to get beautiful pictures.

Then, just in time again, the rain cleared and a double rainbow appeared as everyone was being seated for the wedding. It was absolutely perfect.
